Sun&Moon Suncatcher Trolley 7/30
Sun&Moon Suncatcher Trolley 7/30
We are popping up at one of our favorite Dayton Gem’s, The Trolley Stop!!!
Sunday July 30th
4pm - 6pm
HERE IT IS….. The Sun & Moon glass mosaic suncatcher.
Have some fun, meet new people, exercise your creativity muscles and enjoy great beverages in the Historic Oregon District of Dayton.
You will be using a mosaic tool to cut stained glass (of various colors) into pieces and glue them onto a clear substrate using clear adhesive. The substrate is Lexan and the adhesive we will be using is E6000. You will have the Sun & Moon template tapped under your cutout so you can follow the design easily!
Mosaic experience is a plus for this class but not necessary. All colors will be available.
The Sun (mosaic substrate) is about 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide. Please be ready to begin at 4pm.
We will grout the suncatchers and have them finished and ready for pickup at the Mosaic Institute Studio in South Park.
You Get…
Mosaic lesson
Stained glass & glue
Lexan Sun substrate (12’ x 12’)
Metal hanging clip
Grouting & finishing
and FUN….
Heads Up: If you are very sensitive to smells this isn’t the class for you. The E6000 glue has a slight odor.
